Product Information: This medium density foam is 2 inches thick, 24 inches wide, and 72 inches long. It has a compression rate of 36lbs, providing the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. The foam is soft but still holds its firmness, allowing an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much. This medium firm quality foam is designed for heavy traffic and high use applications. The density is 1.8 and it has a 100% recovery rate.

Compression, not density, determines firmness. If you want to avoid a cushion that is too hard or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, you must check the compression or ILD number. Compression refers to the number of pounds needed to compress a piece of foam by 25% and have it bounce back to its original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 35 lbs. to compress it down by 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 35 lb. compression rating or ILD (Indention Load Deflection).

This foam is ideal for oval and round poker tables, furniture cushions, boat cushions, car cushions, foam mattresses, bedding support, and all other home and commercial upholstery applications.

To cut the foam to the desired size, it is recommended to use a sharp carving knife or electric knife. It is important not to open the package with a box cutter; instead, a ballpoint pen or pencil should be used to make a small incision and then break it from there.

This durable foam is expected to last 7 to 10 years. It is made in the USA and is made of polyurethane.
